I live in brechin and on way to Tarfside we stopped at the tuck in for suppers for family. Best chips red pudding ever and still roasting when got to tarfside. Well impressed lovely busy staff. Il be back xx
This is a very quaint setup of a cafe/chippy/ice cream shop that is quite pretty and nostalgic at the same time. At the mai entrance its a lovely bright cafe serving more than chipshop food in a more refined cafe room. To the side is a small alley leading to an entrance to the same shop but a separste area where you can order your fish n chips or Ice cream to go. I grew up on the east coast and have seen this in a few shops in coastal towns and villages. Nowhere else in my extensive travels. I had a very large double scoop wafer cone served by a very polite young lady to take down to the Shakkin brig just along the road and down a fairly steep track to the riverside. Perfect.
Such a nice place in a wee charming Edzell, nice food and good prices. Today we've had fish and chips plus coffee, everything really tasty and filling. Same day, we've back and bought an ice creams (from machine - best ones, so hard to get it!) and portions was so huge and so delicious! Plus, such a friendly guy serving. Highly recommended!
Excellent fish and chips, best we have had in years, will visit again.
Popped in for a quick bite. The food was nice and staff were friendly. The take away section was busy with orders for supper's and Ice creams. Would recommend.
One of my friends got me a fish supper from The Tuck Inn. It was absolutely awesome. Has to be one of not The, best fish suppers I’ve had. Placed my order the following night and it just confirmed it wasn’t a fluke. Good food, great staff and the owner (who cooked my fish) got stuck in with his staff. A must go if you want a great fish supper. Oh and the chips…… the fritters . Wow
Simple and tasty food. The best fish and chips in the area. I also enjoyed Irn-Bru ice-cream. Good for a quick bite and takeaway. Cozy atmosphere and friendly staff. The toilets are clean and nice as well. Every time it's a pleasure to be here. Highly recommended
